T.T.D.C is the owner/developer of several hotels in Egypt at Taba, and at the Riviera Center on the Gulf of Aqaba.
Establishment
T.T.D.C was established in April 1990 as an Egyptian joint stock company, In accordance with Law No. 230 of 1998. TTDC's authorized Capital is LE 500 million, the subscribed and paid up Capital is LE 294 million. The shareholders are EgyptAir (Holding Company), Egyptian Co. for Investment Projects, Misr Bank, Egyptian General Co. for Tourism and Hotels (EGOTH), The National Bank of Egypt, Misr Insurance, and MID Bank
T.T.D.C owns the following
At the town of taba
- The 5-Star 316 Key Steigenberger Taba Hotel.
- The 5-Star 85 Key Nelson village also managed by Hilton.
- The 5-star 434 Key Movenpick Resort Taba.
- Service Complex (staff housing for 1000 employees, central laundry facility, 1200m3 wastewater treatment plant and a 45-unit shopping center).
T.T.D.C - Riviera Center
At the Riviera Center T.T.D.C has formulated the master plan design, and initiated the construction to develop the 7.7 million square meter Riviera Center in three phases.
Development of phase I is planned to include :
- An International 18-hole Golf course.
- About 250 villas and town houses.
- Three 5-Star hotels.
- Commercial, entertainment and other tourist facilities.
- Marina and town center.
- A World-Class Spa and Health Care Center.
The 5-Star lead hotel consists of :
- 300 rooms and suites of various sizes.
- Conference center.
- Grand lobby; coffee shop and restaurants; hotel shops and retail; ballroom and auditorium.
- Business center with meeting facilities; health club and spa; swimming pools and other outdoor guest recreational and dining facilities; and guest parking
